If you notice, my rate started off pretty low. I was able to increase my rate because I was able to SUCCESSFULLY help clients with their needs. As your time runs out, it must become MORE valuable, or you will never make a decent wage.
The idea is to not just rely on Upwork for part-time work. I think if you do this you’ll never really excel at delivering quality to your clients because you’ll have an actual job to worry about.
I think you need to figure out how to get sustainable contracts ASAP and parlay them into hiring paying clients so you can fully become a solopreneur and work from around the world.
